At Mekanix, we can fabricate, build, assemble and install all of the impossible widgets, thingamabobs, and dodads that designers dream of. From the major "wow" factor presentation centre, to the cleanest and sleekest lines of mid century modern. Anything that you can dream of, we can make it happen. We have a wide history of experience in solving complicated logistics, challenging remote sites, and the cleanest, white glove areas of museums and galleries.

Custom Fabrication

We can build anything with all forms of media from wood, metal and plastics, to specialties such as glass, composites, electronics and mechanical and fluid power systems.

Retail Construction and Maintenance

While we focus on retail and commercial space, we can create a beautiful space anywhere. While working through fine details we can produce the space you envisioned.

Graphic Design Installation

Using a variety of media including composites, direct print media, vinyl graphics, banners, glass media, art media and more.

Specialized Installation

With a successful record of creating "escape rooms" and many different interactive exhibits and displays, we can create the most memorable interactives and spaces possible. From automation, to coordinated AV installations, nothing is too complicated for our team.

Our Story

Mekanix Contracting Corp. is locally owned and operated since 1998. If it's different or unusual, we have done it. Starting as a retail outlet for music and performance audio/visual, we have grown and expanded our services over the years to encompass anything that we think that we can do; which is pretty much EVERYTHING. We have been the go-to supplier of services and custom fabrication for countless repeat clients. All of whom know that when we say we can do it, that we will.

Mekanix Contracting did a fantastic job renovating our new office. We moved into a space which came pre-furnished in a style that didn't match our brand - the office felt like a 90's accounting firm where we wanted a 2017 start up tech vibe. Clinton and his team did a wonderful job designing and installing new office features, re-painting, relocating the furniture we didn't want, and found us great deals on new electronics for the space. They have a great eye for design and labour, and all was done with our brand in mind. They also obliged to our building manager's requirements to submit technical drawings and background information when they removed an internal wall.
